Gathering for Remembering Kim Il Sung Held in China

Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) — A remembrance gathering of families of persons related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle took place at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on July 5 ahead of the 24th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung’s demise.

Present there were the above-said families, the DPRK ambassador to China and embassy staff members.
The participants placed bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and bowed to them.
Speeches were made there.
Zhang Jinlu, daughter of Zhang Wei-hua, said that participating in the gathering, she missed the President so much.
She went on:
It is many years since President Kim Il Sung passed away but he is alive in our hearts.
Today Chairman Kim Jong Un is further developing the traditional China-DPRK friendly relations forged by the President.
I sincerely wish the Korean people bigger progress under the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un.
Yu Ming, son of Li Zade, said that this year Chairman Kim Jong Un visited China three times to positively promote the development of the China-DPRK relations of friendship provided by the revolutionaries of the elder generation, stressing that the China-DPRK friendship would grow stronger under the care of the supreme leaders of the two countries.
