S. Korea: Dissolution of Defense Security Command Urged

Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) — The People’s Party of south Korea released a commentary on July 6 calling for dissolution of the Defense Security Command, according to Jaju Sibo, a south Korean internet newspaper.

The commentary charged that the command submitted a document detailing the plan to the then Defense Minister Han Min Gu in March last year.
It contended that the command had mapped out a plan for suppressing the public by force of arms in case of dismissal of Park Geun Hye’s impeachment by the “constitutional court” and ensuing stronger candlelight demonstration of the public.
The commentary called for finding out those involved in working out the document and thoroughly probing the truth behind the case.
