British, Swiss Bodies Support Korea’s Reunification

Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) — British and Swiss organizations released joint statements on July 4, the 46th anniversary of the July 4 joint statement.

The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula said in a joint statement that the publication of the July 4 joint statement was recorded as a historic event in the history of the struggle for Korea’s reunification.
It is a product of the indefatigable efforts of President Kim Il Sung who set forth the country’s reunification as the greatest task of the nation, the statement said, adding:
The July 4 joint statement carries the President’s idea for national reunification and the desire and will of the Korean people to achieve the reunification of the country at any cost.
A fundamental turn is being made in the national reunification movement under the energetic guidance of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
The Swiss Organizing Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said in their joint statement:
The July 4 joint statement called for achieving Korea’s reunification without interference of outsiders.
The “Panmunjom Declaration on Peace, Prosperity and Reunification of Korean Peninsula” adopted on April 27 reflects the spirit of all the north-south joint statement and declarations.
The statement and declarations adopted between the north and the south are the great patriotic exploits of the great leaders of the DPRK.
We support the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.
