Dissolution of DSC Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean Yonhap News, 16 civic and social organizations including the North Jolla Provincial Peace and Human Rights Solidarity held a news conference on July 12 to demand the dissolution of the Defense Security Command, which hatched a plot to suppress the candlelight demonstrators by force, and stern punishment of its bosses.

Speakers at the conference charged that the command planned to suppress the demonstrators by force, deploying an armored division under the pretence of coping with the “provocation” from the north.
They urged the present “government” to liquidate the evils of the command at once and sternly punish those concerned.
