Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) — The Progressive Federation of Students and the Youth Party in south Korea reportedly held a news conference before the girl statue erected outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on July 12 to condemn Japan’s impudent act.
At the conference speakers charged that Japan is spoiling the climate for peace in Northeast Asia.
They warned that such act would only make Japan isolated in the international community at a time when everyone desires peace and prosperity.
They urged Japan to repent of its past crimes though belatedly and adopt a responsible stance for peace, saying that Japan, too, should be held accountable for the division of Korea.
A press release wad announced. It declared that they would continue the protest struggle until Japan has reflected on its wrongdoings and responded to the demand of the new era.
