Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean online newspaper Chamsesang, the Construction Workers Union of south Korea held a rally for launching an all-out strike at the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul on July 12 in protest against the authorities turning a deaf ear to the demands of the workers for their vital right.
More than thirty thousands of builders participated in the rally.
Speakers demanded that the “government” and the “National Assembly” change the laws and system for the life of construction workers.
They warned that the authorities would face a large-scale general strike unless they root out the labor evils as soon as possible.
