Shutdown of Conservative Media Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) — According to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News, a civic and social organization held a press conference outside the Chosun Ilbo office in Seoul on July 16 to demand the shutdown of conservative media hell-bent on the “row about followers of the north”.

In a press release the organization charged that Chosun Ilbo and other conservative media distorted some expressions of the selected works written by youth and children on the historic north-south summit and used them for the row.
It said that Chosun Ilbo should be closed at once as it has committed pro-Japanese sycophantic and traitorous crimes against democracy and human rights.
