Chairman of Jongyojo of S. Korea Starts Hunger Strike

Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) — The chairman of the Teachers’ Union of south Korea (Jongyojo) started a hunger strike demanding the legitimate status of the union outside Chongwadae on July 16, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Sibo.

He said that refusal to lift the outlawing of the union is little short of the intention to tolerate the abuse of “state power” by the Park Geun Hye regime and carry on the evil doings.
